A Bouquet for You
Christine SnyderI am currently reading Seeds of Hope by Jane Goodall, and in it she mentions floriography, the language of flowers. Its practice has mostly died out since its popularity in Victorian Britain but some remnants of it still linger. For example, we all know what message is conveyed with a dozen red roses.
I wonder what a little bouquet of this early Spring flower would say to the recipient. Perhaps "It is so nice to see you again, I have missed you.".
I hope to see you in tomorrow's Nature Journaling class.
